The Filipino Apostolate is sponsoring a separate Lenten Retreat for the Adults and Youth/Young Adults. Come, spend a day of contemplation and appreciation for the season of Lent and the sacrament of Reconciliation.

WHAT: A Lenten Day Retreat for Adults

WHEN: Saturday, April 9, 2011,  9 AM – 5 PM

WHERE: National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703

WHO: Open to all adults. Please invite your family and friends.

DETAILS:  The day will include 3 presentations.Fr. Arnel Aquino, SJ will speak about the importance of fasting and penance as part of life. Fr.Cyriac, MS will focus on the significance of unity and reconciliation as an ingredient in one's spirituality- a way of maintaining inner peace. Dorothy Levesque will stress the positive consequence of healthy daily examination of conscience - a method that leads to awe at the love and generosity of our God. We will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Confessions and Holy Mass. Lunch will be provided. The suggested donation to attend the Retreat is $10 per adult. All donations will go to the Shrine.

WHO: Open to everyone in middle school, high school, college students and young adults. Please invite your family and friends.

DETAILS: Together for Lent, Christin Jezak and Allison Gingras, offer a unique, energetic and moving penance program for youth and young adults. Allison presents "Bringing Teens a Deeper Appreciation for Reconciliation". Christin performs a one hour play" Baggage" - a modern day parable on the need for reconciliation. Renew your spirits through Confession and Holy Mass. Lunch will be provided. Donation is greatly appreciated and will help defray the retreat expenses.

Come join hundreds of your peers from across the City of Boston on April 1st & 2nd for our fourth annual Archdiocese of Boston Eucharistic Congress for College Students and Young Adults. Meet new people, listen to dynamic speakers, pray in new ways, get involved in Christian service, celebrate Mass with Cardinal Seán O'Malley, enjoy delicious food catered by the Italian restaurants of the North End, and participate in an evening Eucharistic procession. All this will be taking place at Sacred Heart and St. Leonard's Churches in the North End of Boston

We are in the process of organizing a new One FA Choir that will sing in all our major celebrations (Easter Sunday, Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz, and Christmas), and will represent the Filipino Apostolate when invited by the Archdiocese of Boston and others.
This One FA Choir will not replace the chapter choirs in their regular Sunday Mass worships. The recruitment is open to all who loves to praise the Lord. The only requirement is your commitment to attend rehearsals and learn the songs.
