Prayer for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy and for those who are helping them.

"Heavenly Father, we humbly pray to you as a nation.
We beg You, look upon us with mercy.
For our brothers who lost their lives,
receive them in Your bosom.
For the families they left behind,
console them.
For those who are still missing and those trying to get home to their families,
make their way easy.
For those looking and waiting for missing family and relatives,
steady their faith.
For those still waiting for help,
give them strength.
For those who have lost their homes and property,
give them hope.
For those involved in relief and rescue operations,
make them competent and selfless.
Everything we do for our unfortunate brethren,
we offer to You and Your glory.
All this we pray in the most holy Name of Jesus.
